Fun times with the girls...

I finally just had enough time to download some pictures from last weekend and from this weekend. Last weekend Brianna stayed the night with Gray. What a great pair these two girls make. They are so much fun to be around.

Yesterday Sam, Maddie, Gray and I all went to the park. Gray and Maddie had lots of fun, us mom's were hoping it would wear them out so bed time would come early, we failed miserably.

And last but not least my little diva has decided that this year the layered look is in. She has continuously dressed in several layers. Saturday when we went to the beach she had on her bathing suit, then underwear over that, then a sun dress then a t-shirt. I couldn't find a camera or I would have posted a picture of it. She is so funny! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day Weekend and a great farewell to summer cookout! Enjoy!

Finally, she is driving her Escalade!

We purchased a power wheel escalade for Gray at the beginning of the year. She drove it once and that was it. But today, to my amazement she and Maddie hopped right in there and off they went. Of course, Sam and I didn't realize that we had the thing in high gear until we were both out of breathe from running beside the thing and turning the wheel. Toward the end both girls were much more in control and of course us adults had found the slower speed. Enjoy.

Best Friends are the Best!

Gracyn and her BFF Brianna have been spending alot of time together, at their own requests! Nicole(Bri's Mama) and I are amazed at how much these little girls love one another. I mean it is funny, while they are together in the house they really don't play with one another, they are always in the same room though. Outside they are like two peas in a pod. They both love to run and jump on the trampoline. And they both love the beach. We took them down to the beach last night and they were so funny. They were trying to catch those little tiny birds that run along the shore. I tell you all that Gray is gonna be a track star, she will just run and run down the beach.

Last nite, once we got home the girls were still super excited so Nicole who had to work at 7 am Saturday morning was tired. I suggested we let Bri stay over nite. This was gonna be Bri's first time away from Mama and Daddy overnite since she was 9 months! Well, to make a long story short Bri played herself to sleep, never even realized she wasn't going home. Gray past out about 15 minutes before Bri did. I on the other hand was ready for bed about an hour or so before them.

They are super sweet girls and I am so thankful they have one another! So, I totally blanked last nite and didn't take any pics. But the above pics are how they slept all night. If one moved the other moved too! So cute!

One more thing before I go. Gray is completely potty trained. Even overnight! No diapers for about 3 weeks now. And NO accidents either. Daddy and Mommy are very excited!

Hanging out with Best Friend Bri.

We had an extra little girl all weekend. Bri is one week older than Gray and boy do they have fun together. It actually wasn't too hard to watch them both, but I would NOT want to do that on a daily basis. Let's just say i will definitely sleep well tonight! Enjoy.

Mix match day at Daycare

No, I promise I was not asleep when I got Gray ready for school this day! Her daycare has water day and school spirit day every Friday. Last Friday it was mix match day. So, she was all mixed up!!
She is doing so well in school. Hard to believe she will be 3 in just a few months.

Alittle more park fun for everyone!

Nice days mean fun park play! Gray is in love with all things that take place outside. She is such a little ball of energy. I wish I had just a 1/8 of the energy level she has! She is now 36 inches tall so there isn't much on the playground that she can not conquer. She seems to be okay with heights and loves to swing and slide. GiGi and Mama were worn out by the time we convinced Gray we had to leve. That was even with the coffee GiGI had and the frappacino I had before we got to the park.! Gray is full of spunk when she is exposed to fresh air!

July is here, where did June go?

Just some pics of Gray at the park. GiGi has ben in town for a week and has been keeping Gray occuppied. We did go to see the fireworks in Swansboro but Gray decided once they started to go off that they were too loud, so we left. Guess we will wait to see how next year's show goes. hope everyone had a safe, happy and fun 4th of July!

Gracyn is just like her daddy and is a water bug. All she wants to do is go "women" in her "baby suit". Her favorite swimming partner is Billy(he is the boy in the pics, he is one of our neighbors, she loves all three but he is her favorite now cause he will go "women" whenever she bats her baby blues at him.LOL.) Ardie, you just wait you are gonna laugh so hard when you hear her say it. She is doing great in the pool with her little life vest. Has no fear at all. We haven't been to the beach in a week or so but maybe the weather will hold out this weekend. She is learning so much at daycare it is amazing. Our little Gray is growing up so fast. Okay so they aren't the best pictures. I am not sure what is up with my camera. guess it is time for a new one or something. Gray is doing great! She is growing so fast. She is still potty training but it is really going well. She only has an accident every now and again. Time is flying hard to believe it is June already. But we are taking every chance we can to enjoy the outdoors and the beach. Hope all is well with everyone. Sorry about the blurry pics, not sure what happened.Enjoy.

Hello Beach, we've missed you!

Hello there. I am not sure how I posted two of the same pics but atleast it is a great one!!
Yep, it was a nice Saturday so we took advantage and went down to the beach. Gray played in the sand and in the water alittle. She actually lost her balance and fell back into a wave. Water is still pretty cold but it was still nice to put your feet in and wiggle you toes in the wet sand.

I am sorry i haven't been posting as often as I used to. I have been really busy at the hotels since March and just want to relax and spend time with Gray at night. Our weekends have ben rather boring since our weather seems to always turn yucky on the weekends. So, other than watching alot of t.v. and reading books our weekends haven't really been picture worthy. Gray is still doing well in her daycare. I am hoping there won't be any changes with that anytime soon. It has been a whirlwind adventure finding good childcare that lasts. So, keep your fingers and toes crossed for us. We are still in the process of potty training. thankfully darecare is also working with her so it is slowly happening. I am proud to report she used the potty atleast once everyday this week! They say sometimes it takes up to 15 minutes for her to finally go. guess she doesn't work well under pressure huh???lol
As you can see in the pics she loves to read. This week I can't count how many times I have put all of her books back into her room only to have her drag them back out. She loves to "read" to you, she holds the book so you can see and everything!
She is still loving Nemo, but we have added a few other movies to the mix! She likes Brother Bear, both Ice Ages and her newest kick is the Little Mermaid. She now knows how to find her movie, get it out of the case and put it in the DVD player and play it. She is our little movie buff!
Well I guess that is all for now. I just wanted to catch everyone up and hopefully we will have some nice weather on the weekends so we can get out of this house and take some pics! Enjoy and we love you all!

Easter Egg hunt!

Gracie and her cousins Maddie and Savannah had an easter egg hunt on Saturday. Gracie had her basket so full her eggs were falling out the top when she walked. Her and Maddie would spot the same egg at the same time and they would run to get them. It was lots of fun for us to watch. They probably "searched" for eggs for well over an hour.
